INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE
As with all plant processing machines, as with our pumps, installation must be done properly to ensure their satisfactory and safe operation. Because the conditions are different for each business, the installation should be made after consultation and instructions from the technical department of our company.Pumps should be serviced at regular intervals following the recommendations of our technicians. This ensures the proper operation of our products and the safety of the personnel.
PROCESS START OPERATION
The "monopump" pumps must be filled with liquid before they start. This initial filling is intended for the necessary lubrication of the stator until the pump is filled. When the pump stops, there will normally be enough fluid trapped in the "stator / rotor" system to provide lubrication when the pump is restarted. If the pump has been idle for a long time, has been moved to another position or disassembled and reassembled, it must be filled with liquid and given a few turns before normal starting. Normally, the pump is tightly locked by hand due to the tight application of the stator / rotor, but this dyskinesia disappears when the pump starts to operate normally. We recommend that the pump does not work dry, as this will speed up the stator wear.
MAINTENANCE OF FATHERED PARTS (ROTORS & STATORS)
The rate of wear in these components depends on many factors, such as the nature of the fluid, the speed of rotation, etc. When the pump performance drops to unacceptable levels, either one of the two parts above or both must be replaced with new spare parts.
